Laughter motivational quote of the month 'Never be too busy to laugh or too quick to criticize' - Gerry Hopman

Humor/Happiness facts/quotes Joyful people have 40% lower risk of heart conditions than sad people.

The 1 Minute Laugh

Nine-year-old Joey, was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday school. "Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

When he got to the Red Sea, he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely.

Then he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved and the Egyptians all drowned."

"Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?" his mother asked.

"Well, no Mom, bit if I told you the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!"

Humor from our richest 'Humor Resource'......our kids

Working as a pediatric nurse, I had the difficult assignment of giving immunization shots to children.

One day I entered the examination room to give four-year-old Lizzy her needle.

"No, No , No", she screamed. "Lizzy, that's not polite behavior,' scolded her mother.

With that the girl yelled even louder,"No thank you! No thank you!"

Joy and happiness at Christmas time

For many Christmas is a joyous and happy time, getting together with family and friends, exchanging greetings and gifts, and sharing and enjoying an abundance of food and drink.

For some it is a time when they remember the lost spouse, child, or other family member more than at any other time of the year.

With the downturn of the economy, many will have a downscaled, or a very limited Christmas celebration.

Those of us who have not been negatively affected by a lost family member, or the negative affects of the changed economy should remember that happiness and joy can be multiplied by sharing some of our abundance and good fortune with others.

Christmas is the ideal time to spread kindness. Have you ever received an unexpected gift, been the recipient of a good dded, or kind smile and understanding?

If you have, you know how good it feels to receive such kindness. Researchers have found that it feels just as great, or even greater to be the provider of the gift, the good deed, or the act of kindness than to be the recipient.

Count your blessings! Many of us don't realize how blessed we are with good health, financial security, great children, a good job, great friends, not having to worry except for the small annoyances in life.

If we do some self-reflection, it will become a lot easier to be thankful for what we have and start to share some of our blessings with those in need.

Christmas can, and will even be more joyful and happy if we share our blessings.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful joyous and Merry Christmas!

If you lose your zest for laughter - you lose your zest for life!
